Situated in beautiful highland countryside an hour south of Kraków, this trip includes an eco workshop, accommodation in a straw bale cottage and home made vegetarian food.
Choose from a range of custom workshops for small groups, these include strawbale building, renewable energy, natural farming (crops, composting, seed propagation etc.), home made pickling and preserving, candle making and discovering edible wild herbs and plants.
Eco Workshop in Poland
The eco workshop and the centre are run by an established and award winning Polish NGO commited to raising awareness of the importance of small family farming in creating an ecologically sensitive, long term solution to the countryside, as an alternative to European agricultural policy.
Straw Bale Cottage Accommodation
Accommodation is in a strawbale building on location at the centre, one large room with space for an additional small bed, and one smaller room with a double bed. Would suit a group of five with children. Alternative accommodation is available nearby for larger groups. Vegetarian natural food breakfast and evening meal are provided.
Farm animals at the site include sheep, alpaca, chickens, rabbits and ducks.
There is a small playground with a swing, climbing ladder and a willow tree tent.
Optional excursions include the salt mines in Wieliczka, Kraków, historic wooden churches in the surrounding area and the beautiful mountainous countryside across the region.
