Our greatest passion are the horses – our teachers and partners.
Połoniny, full name Ośrodek Górskiej Turystyki Jeździeckiej Połoniny, is in Żubracze, a small, charmingly situated village in the western part of the Bieszczady Mountains, only 4.5 km from Cisna. It is surrounded by massifs of the following mountains: Hyrlata, Matragona and Wielki Dział, whose ridge runs along the main Carpathian Trail. The Solinka River flows through the village. All around, there are enchanting views of meadows and wooded hills.

The Bieszczady Mountains
The Bieszczady Mountains in south east Poland offer an idyllic setting for a horse riding break. With rolling hills, dense forests, and serene meadows, this unspoiled region provides scenic trails ideal for exploring on horseback. Riders can enjoy panoramic views, encounter diverse wildlife, and experience the tranquility of the wilderness, peaceful rustic villages and warm hospitality.

Horse Riding at Połoniny
We offer lessons for beginners, professionally, with commitment and attention to safety. We pay special attention to complete relaxation, perfect balance, good cooperation with the horse. We try to match the teacher-horse with each rider so that it all fit together.


Riding with already experienced riders our focus is on improving the saddle and communication with the horse, balance and relaxation. We also offer jump training, dressage basics, trail and extreme trail training in the terrain of the Bieszczady Mountains.
Off-road rides around the resort- for between 1 to 5 hours. Weekend rides with overnight stays in friendly resorts or hostels. Multi-day rides where we take everything we need for the journey, or in a more comfortable version with transport of sleeping bags and other equipment by car.

The Accommodation
13 beds in cosy rooms with en-suite bathrooms. We serve homemade delicious breakfasts, using local food products. Near the house in greenery and directly by the stream, there is a campfire with shelter that we call the Temple of Fire, a place where you can make hot food and party even when it’s raining. Dinner and supper are not provided, but local produce is available to arrange.
There is a hot tub, which will ensure relaxation after an active day and warm your muscles even in the coldest weather, with views of the spectacular starry sky and the Bieszczady mountains!
