Forest Bathing

A three day mindfulness trip in Wisła in south west Poland near the border with Czechia and Slovakia.
10th to 13th September 2026

Just a vacation won’t save you.
Reset Your mind.

Give us 4 days. We’ll forget our phones and go deep into the woods. You will feel a peace that an all-inclusive will not give you.

We know what it’s like,

  • You wake up at 3 am with fear and don’t know how you’ll live another day.
  • Every day is like groundhog day – over and over again the same thing, you do everything out of habit and duty.
  • You feel constant fatigue and loneliness in all of this.

Forest Contemplations will give you peace and solace.

  • You will immerse yourself in nature, begin to breathe deeper and really listen to yourself.
  • You will meet people. You will be heard and understood.
  • You will return and improve your resilience.

Forest Contemplation is more than just a trip to the mountains. It is a retreat in the current of ecopsychology and deep ecology. Under the care of Agnieszka Boruta, a certified guide of forest baths and an educator in the field of ecopsychology, you will immerse yourself in nature to find peace and harmony with each other and the world around you. In the program you will find elements of meditation, forest baths, mindfulness exercises, as well as gentle sounds of instruments and common singing – voluntary of course.

Backed by Science

Day to day, your body operates in sympathetic system mode – this is our internal gas pedal, fight or flight mode. It is responsible for mobilization, vigilance and unfortunately – for the sense of constant tension and racing thoughts. The forest acts like a switch, it activates the parasympathetic system.

How does this happen? First, through the air; trees release volatile organic compounds called phytoncides. Research confirms that inhaling these substances is a key mechanism behind many of the health benefits of forest bathing.

Second, the forest affects our brain. Studies using magnetic resonance imaging show that contact with nature calms activity in the prefrontal cortex. This is why the racing of thoughts finally slows down in the forest.

Forest bathing, therefore, is not just a walk. It is a conscious submission to the processes that restore our body and mind to their natural balance. It is an antidote to a world that constantly keeps our “gas pedal” pressed to the floor.

Would you like to stop rushing and catch your breath?

Forest Bath Trip Additional Info

Campfires, every night we sit in a circle in a safe, optional space where we can share without being judged; we can listen; you can be yourself. The sense of temporary (in 4 days everyone will come back together) makes it easier to open up.

We’re building a bond. We are not a hotel – we are a group of people who support each other in silence and conversation.

Anchor Workshop. You will learn how to take peace of mind home and how to repeat breathing and meditation techniques in your apartment.

Support upon return. After the tour, you will receive an invitation to a closed group on Messenger. It’s a place for your group to remind themselves of mindfulness and support each other in everyday life.

What will you take home? Peace that doesn’t end on the threshold of the forest. We don’t want it to be just a nice weekend. We want to give you the tools to fight the machine mode every day.

Only 10 – 12 people. A small group where we can establish bonds.

Fragrant with wood, cozy, inviting to a common table natural meals

Food is vegetarian, with local products, prepared on site.

Forest scenery.

Cottage Pod Jaworem – a House, Not a Hotel

Cottage Pod Jaworem has been our home for years. A place a little on the sidelines, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, where the forest is literally on the doorstep. We’ve always welcomed guests here as friends, sharing what’s best we have. But it was us who had to go through a period of total burnout to understand that this silence and the nature around is not just a nice sight. It’s a real rescue. And so, out of the need of the heart, Forest Contemplations were born.
